Receiving Instruction

All parts leaving our facilities are rigorously inspected for quality and are packed carefully and thoroughly to prevent damages during shipping, but unfortunately damages still occasionally occur during shipping. We cannot stress enough the importance of knowing the damage insurance policy regarding freight shipping to ensure you are covered in the event of your parts arriving damaged. Damage Insurance is included on the part during shipping, but only to your door. After you accept and sign for the package, there is no damage insurance.

THIS MEANS THAT ALL LIABILITY FOR DAMAGES ARE WAIVED ONCE YOU SIGN FOR THE PACKAGE.

Please be sure to un‐box the part entirely and carefully inspect the product for damages, flaws, or defects BEFORE accepting delivery. If the product is damaged, flawed, or defective, refuse the shipment and sign "DAMAGED" on the signature area of the shipping receipt. If you (or anybody) at the delivery address accepts a damaged part, you will not be covered (regardless how good OR bad the box looks). If the driver does not allow time to inspect, look at the box on all sides and notate “DAMAGED” on the receipt if there is any damage such marking, crushed or dented on box.If the shipping company does not require signature or appointment for delivery and your parts aredamaged: You MUST NOTIFY the shipping company and Successful Automotive the SAME day delivery is made. Any damages reported AFTER the day of delivery will be DENIED by the shipping company. To open a damage claim, contact the shipping company directly at the number provided and report the damages IMMEDIATELY and take note of the person who takes your call. Failure in reporting the damages to the shipping company and Successful Automotive the SAME day the part was delivered will result in the damage claim being DENIED by the shipping company.

Fitment

All body kits and products sold by Successful Automotive  are considered custom parts. Due to the material and processes used in production, products will not be a "direct bolt-on." Our products may require prepping, sanding, shaving, filling gaps, and/or other body work. Modifications may include removal or cutting of the reinforcement bars. All parts require professional installation. Auto shops experienced in OEM installations may not be experienced in aftermarket fiberglass installations. Refunds will not be issued due to poor fitment of our products.

Overlay

Our fiberglass parts only come with a protective layer of primer, so proper sanding, blocking and paint prep will be required.  No aftermarket body parts are a simple OEM swap, and ours are no different.  Please keep this in mind when setting expectations of what is required.Unlike many overseas made parts, our carbon fiber pieces come clear coated with UV protection.  No additional clear coat is required prior to install.  We do recommend a full detail after installation to clear any scuffs from transport.  Ceramic coating can further bring out the depth and clarity of the carbon fiber as well.  All that said, we make our parts in a volume production environment, and our finish is suitable for the vast majority of our customers given the price point.  If you are looking for a glass-like “show finish” - we do recommend to have the carbon re-cleared.
